First Time in a Fancy Cafe Meme, Explained

The "POV: your first time in a fancy cafe" meme is a vertical skit about mistaking a small cafe table for a stool. The first person climbs down after another customer sits on the ledge and sets a coffee on the next table.

What happens in the clip

The cafe is bare poured concrete. Its small round tables stand on slim steel posts fixed to a low concrete ledge, and they are so plain they look exactly like stools.

1. Someone sits up on one of the little tables with a coffee, feet on the ledge, looking comfortable.
2. A second person walks in.
3. That person sits on the ledge and puts their cup on the other table.
4. The first person slowly works out what they have done.
5. They climb down, sit on the ledge and put their cup on the table, as if nothing happened.

In the pet sample, a corgi sits on the table and walks down at the end.
